As if that wasn’t enough, he has a poor batting average away from home. The Indian captain has an average of 21.62 in overseas conditions. Meanwhile, the 32-year-old would like to forget his recent form and focus on the upcoming challenge against England.
England will cross swords with India in the five-match Test series. The first Test is scheduled to be played at Trent Bridge on Nottingham on August 4. It will be quite interesting to see how Virat Kohli & Co respond to the big challenge.

It is Virat Kohli’s second ICC final loss as captain. Earlier, India lost to Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Meanwhile, England will be looking forward to putting up a good show. When England played in the Indian conditions, they lost to India by 3-1 in the Test series. The hosts will look to avenge their Test series defeat to Team India.
