It is no secret that Virat Kohli is known for his passionate and expressive nature on the cricket field. The senior pro often displays intense emotions during the games, which some might interpret as being short-tempered.
At times, he has crossed his limits and breached the code of conduct and for which, he has been slapped with heavy fines in his career. During the recent clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders, Kohli made the headlines for a wrong reason.
The former RCB captain vented his frustration after his controversial dismissal at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The veteran was absolutely livid after he was given out to a ball that appeared to be a waist-high full toss bowled by KKR’s Harshit Rana.
As it turned out, the right-hander ended up conceding a top edge towards the bowler in the third over. The on-field umpire raised his finger and hence Kohli was given out. However, Kohli preferred to take the review and the third umpire made the final call, which is “OUT”.
