IPL 2023: Predicted XI of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for the season

Sunrisers Hyderabad are one of the teams that have made a compelling statement in most of their participating seasons in the Indian Premier League. They have carved out a reputation for themselves as one of the most consistent teams in the IPL. In fact, they made their first appearance in IPL 2013 after Hyderabad-based Deccan Chargers was terminated from the competition.
Notably, Sunrisers Hyderabad made it to the playoffs on five occasions. The Orange army won their maiden title in the IPL 2016 season. They defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final encounter and tasted IPL glory. While things were going smoothly for SRH, the franchise went through some unexpected changes. They sacked David Warner in the first half of the IPL 2021 season.

Openers: Mayank Agarwal, Abhishek Sharma
Sunrisers Hyderabad ran through dismal starts in the last couple of seasons and they lacked stability in the opening slot. The right and left-hand combination might as well do the trick for Sunrisers Hyderabad going forward into the season.
Mayank Agarwal was purchased by the SRH franchise for INR 8.25 crores at the IPL 2023 mini-auction held in Kochi on late December 23, 2022. In fact, there will be quite a lot of expectations of him, given his price tag. Mayank Agarwal has played 133 games in the IPL. Overall, he has aggregated 2331 runs at a strike rate of 134.51 including one century and 12 fifties.
On the other hand, Abhishek Sharma has also proved his worth in the IPL. He was purchased by the SRH franchise for INR 6.50 crore at the IPL 2023 mini-auction. Abhishek Sharma scored 667 runs including two fifties to his name. On the contrary, he has also been quite handy with the ball as he has taken seven wickets to his name.
