5 players DC could retain ahead of IPL 2025 mega auction
2. Tristan Stubbs
Tristan Stubbs is one of the players Delhi Capitals will look to retain ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. The 24 year old South African born cricketer has been a part of the IPL since 2022. Having played eighteen games, he scored 405 runs at an average of 36.8 and a staggering strike rate of 173.8.
Tristan Stubbs, who is a clean hitter of the cricket ball is considered the next big thing in South African cricket. In the last season, he smashed 3 half centuries and registered his personal best score of 71*.
3. Mitchell Marsh
Mitchell Marsh is a three-dimensional player where he can deliver the goods with a bad ball and on the field. He has been a part of the IPL since 2010, but he hasn’t been able to feature in the majority of the games due to poor form.
Despite all that, the franchise will still look to retain him given his experience in the shortest format. Overall, he has played 42 games and scored 665 runs at a strike rate of 127.6 including three half centuries. The 32-year-old has been pretty decent with the ball as he has taken 37 wickets to his name including 2 four wicket hauls.
