3) Prasidh Krishna
Prasidh Krishna is probably the front-runner in the race to replace any fast bowler in the squad. He is a hit-the-deck bowler and can bowl at the same area for an extended period of time, making life difficult for batters.
He was part of India’s squad for the recently-concluded Asia Cup. The right-handed pacer is also included in the squad for the first two ODIs against Australia, indicating he is still in the schemes.
Prasidh made his last appearance in the ODI format a week ago against Bangladesh in the continental cup. He has played 14 ODIs so far, picking up 25 wickets in the journey.
