3 players Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) might trade ahead of IPL 2023
LSG will look to strengthen their squad for IPL 2023.
2. Andrew Tye
Lucknow Super Giants signed Australian pacer Andrew Tye as a replacement for injured English pacer Mark Wood. The right-handed Aussie is known for his variations and is considered a good death bowler.
He played three matches for the Lucknow-based franchise but failed to impress with the ball. Andrew Tye picked up only two wickets in those three games and gave away runs at an economy rate of 9.72. Mark Wood is fit again and Andrew Tye is unlikely to feature in LSG’s playing XI in IPL 2023.
However, Andrew Tye is a top bowler and many teams might be looking to sign a quality foreign pacer. Hence, if a team looks to sign him ahead of the auction for IPL 2023, the Lucknow Super Giants are likely to trade him out.
