Washington Sundar is a talented all-rounder who plays an essential role in T20I cricket with his versatile skill set in both batting and bowling. He is quite economical and has a knack for bowling in the powerplay overs. However, with the T20I series going to be played in Harare, the spinners are expected to benefit from the surface in the middle-overs where he can be a reliable option.

His potential to maintain a tight line and length makes it tough for batsmen to score freely. Besides his bowling credentials, he is a capable lower-order hitter who can play vital cameos towards the end of an innings.

Bowlers: Ravi Bishnoi, Mukesh Kumar, Avesh Khan and Khaleel Ahmed

Ravi Bishnoi was not part of the T20 World Cup 2024 but will be making a return to Zimbabwe T20Is. The right-arm leg spinner is known for his knack for taking wickets with his sharp googlies and leg-breaks. His variations and ability to spin the ball both ways make him a potent bowling weapon.

Having played 24 T20Is so far, he has taken 36 wickets including a four-wicket haul. Mukesh Kumar is the only senior in India’s set-up and the 30-yeaar-old is expected to lead the bowling attack by example. The experienced bowler is known for his potential to bowl at tight line and lengths.

He has played 14 T20Is for Team India, wherein he has taken 12 wickets at an economy of 9.39. On the other hand, Avesh Khan has played 20 T20Is and has taken 19 wickets including a four-wicket haul but at an expensive economy of 9.31.

Khaleel Ahmed can swing the ball both ways early in the innings. Besides that, he can can extract early seam movement off the pitch, which can come in handy in Harare. Having played 14 T20Is, he has accounted for 13 dismissals at an economy of 8.82.
