World Cup 2023: ‘Pakistan Zindabhaag!’ – Virender Sehwag trolls Pakistan ahead of their England clash
Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag leaves no stone unturned to troll arch-rivals Pakistan and once again he has made the headlines for his humourous take on the neighbours.
As things stand, Pakistan are almost out of the semi-final as they need to do the unthinkable to make it into the next round. After New Zealand’s thumping victory over the Lankans on Thursday, their net run rate took a giant leap.
To bypass the Kiwis’ NNR, the Babar Azam-led side need to defeat England either by 287 runs or chase the target with 284 balls to spare. To be honest, their only real chance is to score 400+ while batting first and then restrict the English batters.
Taking advantage of the situation, Sehwag took to Twitter to troll the Pakistan cricket team in his own style. He posted a picture written ‘Bye Bye Pakistan’ with the caption, “Pakistan Zindabhaag! Have a safe flight back home.”
The 45-year-old didn’t stop there and went on to take further digs aiming at the concerned team. He stated how every team Pakistan supports starts playing like them (indicating Sri Lanka’s poor display against the Kiwis).

Wasim Akram has hilarous suggestion
Former Pakistan cricketer Wasim Akram also shared his views on Pakistan’s situation. He said that mathematically the qualification is still possible. He also suggested jokingly that the Men in Green should post runs batting first and then lock the English side in the dressing room to get them timed out.
“Mathematically it is still possible. Pakistan should bat first against England and post runs, then lock the England team in the dressing room and get them timed out,” Akram told A Sports.
