“We will plan against him” – Babar Azam shares insights on tackling Virat Kohli in T20 World Cup 2024

Meanwhile, Pakistan captain Babar Azam has shared some insights on tackling Kohli’s threat in the clash. He echoed that the team prefers to plan for all eleven players based on their strengths before adding that they don’t plan against any specific player.

Furthermore, he labelled Virat Kohli as one of the best players before expressing that they will plan against him also. The conditions in New York is almost new to everyone and it remains to be seen how the players assess the conditions before going about their work.

“As a team, you always plan against different teams and according to their strengths. We don’t plan anything against only one player, we plan for all eleven players,” Babar said. “We don’t know much about the conditions in New York and we will plan accordingly. He [Virat Kohli] is one of the best players and we will plan against him as well,” he added.
