Kolkata Knight Riders’ skipper Shreyas Iyer did exactly the same by running out KL Rahul without facing the delivery.

The Knight Riders from Kolkata must win this game to stay alive in the competition. Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants are eyeing the top spot in the league standings with a win tonight.

KKR’s skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and invited the opposition to bat first. He ensured a rocking start for his team with a brilliant piece of fielding.

KL Rahul goes off without facing a ball; Shreyas Iyer hits the bull’s eye

LSG’s opening duo of Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul came out to bat as the South African wicket-keeper batter took the strike. Meanwhile, the Kiwi pacer Tim Southee kickstarted the proceedings for the two-time champions.

QDK began with three dot balls, followed by a double on the fourth delivery of the first over. Then, he threw his skipper under the bus on the fifth delivery.

Tim Southee bowled a full and swinging delivery, and de Kock nudged it to the covers. The left-handed batter set off for a single and then stopped in between. By the time he said no, KL Rahul was halfway down the pitch.
