WATCH: Lord’s prankster Jarvo turns up at Headingley as India’s no.4 batsman

A famous prankster by the name of ‘Jarvo’ has become a social media sensation in no time. It all started when an English supporter turned up at the Lord’s Test match between England and India in London. The intruder took us all by surprise with his entry.

He invaded the turf and announced himself as an Indian fielder, leaving Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja in splits. Those were unforgettable moments that transpired at The Home of Cricket. Meanwhile, the security officials took the prankster off the turf.

While that wasn’t the end of the ‘Jarvo episode’. Interestingly, another video of ‘Jarvo’ setting up a tent during a live cricket match also went viral on the internet. Netizens have also started to like him as he has done nothing but entertain the fans with his antics.

Jarvo hogs the limelight in the third Test match

On the other hand, some sections of the supporters expressed that intruders are ruining the flow and intensity of the game. The ground officials haven’t done enough to strengthen their security as ‘Jarvo’ turned up once again, this time in the third Test between England and India at Headingley in Leeds.

It seems that the pitch invader Jarvo is having the best days of his life. During Day 3 of the third Test between England and India, Jarvo donned Team India’s jersey and walked out to bat at no.4. He arrived as soon as Rohit Sharma made his way back to the dressing room after scoring 59 runs.

Meanwhile, all the players on the pitch spotted that it was not the Indian batsman. The match was delayed for few minutes as the security officials harshly dragged the prankster out of the park. The video clip of security officials forcing Jarvo out of the park has gone viral on the internet.

Talking about the game, Team India ended Day 3 on a positive note. The visitors managed to score 215/2 (80 overs). Cheteshwar Pujara was the best batsman for India as he scored an unbeaten 91 off 50 balls including 15 boundaries. Virat Kohli also batted well as he remains not out on 45 including 6 fours.
