The hailstorm named Liam Livingstone has reached back to his nation England has started doing what he does best – hitting sixes. The English all-rounder, who played for Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League, looked in great touch during the biggest T20 carnival on the globe. Now, the right-handed southpaw is back in England and plying his trade for Lancashire in the ongoing T20 Blast. On Friday, in the game between Lancashire and Yorkshire, Liam Livingstone smashed a humongous six out of the Old Trafford.

Liam Livingstone had also smashed the longest six in the IPL 2022 with a 117-meter hit off Mohammad Shami against Gujarat Titans. The all-rounder has made it a habit of scoring sixes for fun and when he hits the cricket ball, he absolutely smokes the leather out of it.

The official Twitter handle of Vitality T20 Blast shared a video of the monstrous six off Livingstone’s bat. In the video, the right-handed batter could be seen smashing a length ball from a right-handed pacer out of the ground over the mid-wicket boundary.

The commentary team went berserk while describing the shot while Liam Livingstone himself looked amazed with the power he generated behind the shot.

Meanwhile, Lancashire and Yorkshire played a thrilling tie as both sides scored the same amount of runs after their 20 overs.

Batting first, Lancashire posted a total of 183/7 in 20 overs, courtesy of a fifty from Philip Salt. Tim David also provided the explosive finish in the death with 35 runs off 18 deliveries. Meanwhile, Liam Livingstone could not stay in the middle for the long and got out for 23 runs off 16 deliveries.

Chasing the total, Yorkshire could also manage 183/5 despite the best of the efforts from Harry Brook, who remained unbeaten for 72 runs off 48 deliveries.
