Ravi Ashwin delivered a wide on the first delivery of the over but bounced back in style by scalping Shikhar Dhawan’s wicket on the next bowl. It was a flighted delivery on the wickets, and Dhawan shimmied down the wickets to hit the bowl over the mid-on.
However, the left-handed southpaw didn’t get the desired connection, and Jos Buttler grabbed a screamer on the mid-on while back-pedalling. It was a huge wicket for the Royals as Shikhar Dhawan has been in a mighty form with the bat this season.
