The Knight Riders are known for their reputation in the Indian Premier League. They are the third-most successful team in the cash-rich league with two titles under the astute leadership of Gautam Gambhir.

KKR won the title in IPL 2012 and IPL 2014. They also made it to the finals of IPL 2021 but lost to Chennai Super Kings. KKR had a tag of 75.1 million USD in 2008 around them. The franchise is owned by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.

Punjab Kings (76 million USD)

Punjab Kings (PKBS) were earlier referred to as ‘Kings XI Punjab’. PBKS are one of the three teams that are yet to win a title. They reached the finals of the IPL 2014 season but lost to Kolkata Knight Riders in the peak clash.

Punjab Kings have been inconsistent over the last few seasons. The franchise is owned by Mohit Burman, the Wadia Group, PZNZ Media, and Apeejay Surendra Group. The franchise had a worth of 76 million USD in 2008.
