Ross Taylor’s full name is Luteru Ross Poutoa Lote Taylor. His significant contribution to New Zealand cricket has never been in doubt. He is one of the most consistent players for the Black Caps after captain Kane Williamson. The right-handed batsman has often put his team in the comfort zone by stitching valuable partnerships.

The 36-year-old veteran is often termed as a productive player of the New Zealand national cricket team. Taylor has a massive fan-following all across the world. Batting mainly at number four, he is the leading run-scorer for the national team in Test and ODI cricket respectively. Taylor scored 7379 runs in Tests, 8574 runs in ODIs and 1909 runs in T20Is respectively.

The experienced cricketer maintained a terrific batting average of 45.8 and 48.4 in Tests and ODIs. He scored 19 centuries and 34 fifties in the longest format of the game. Coming to the 50-over format, the batsman hit 21 centuries and 51 fifties to his name. However, in T20I cricket, he hasn’t hit a century but smashed 7 fifties.
