Bangladesh cricket team registered an unwanted record after getting bowled out for 87 against Pakistan in their backyard in Dhaka in 2000, which is still the lowest total in the history of the Asia Cup. Batting first, Pakistan posted 320/3 in 50 overs as the likes of Imran Nazir and Mohammad Yousuf scored 80 runs apiece. Bangladesh were skittled out for a paltry total. Abdul Razzaq registered 3/5 in 4 overs.

1. Hong Kong

Hong Kong ran through a terrible experience after being bundled out for the lowest team total in Asia Cup history. They recorded their lowest total against Pakistan in Sharjah in Asia Cup 2022. Batting first, Pakistan posted 193/2 in 20 overs with the help of Mohammad Rizwan’s 78 and Fakhar Zaman’s 53. United Arab Emirates recorded the second-lowest total in the history of the Men’s T20I Asia Cup tournament. UAE could post 81/9 in 20 overs against India in Mirpur. Shaiman Anwar top-scored with 43 runs. In response, Team India chased down the target in 10.1 overs. They won the game by nine wickets. Muhammad Usman top-scored with 30 whereas the rest of the batters were dismissed for cheap scores. Bangladesh won the game by 51 runs.

Pakistan recorded the fourth-lowest total in the Men’s T20I Asia Cup tournament. The Green Shirts went through a horrible experience while locking horns with their arch-rivals India in the 2016 edition. They were bowled out for 83 runs. Hardik Pandya was the pick of the bowlers for India as he took 3 wickets. In reply, India won the game by 5 wickets in 15.3 overs. Virat Kohli top-scored with 49 runs.
