IPL 2025: Predicted XI of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the season

All-rounders: Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin

CSK retained their lead spin all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja for INR 18 crore ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. With a wealth of experience in the shortest format of the game, Jadeja has been a part of the IPL since 2008. He has played 240 games so far, scoring 2,959 runs, including three fifties, while also taking 160 wickets at an economy of 7.62, including one five-wicket haul.

Quite interestingly, CSK signed Ravichandran Ashwin for INR 9.75 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction, marking a homecoming for Ashwin at Chepauk. He will look forward to forming a strong partnership with Ravindra Jadeja. Ashwin has been a part of the IPL since the 2009 edition. Over 212 appearances, he has taken 180 wickets at an economy of 7.12 and has scored 800 runs, including one half-century.
