CSK’s preference for multi-faceted players could lead them to target Marcus Stoinis. The Australian all-rounder, who impressed for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in 2024, even scoring a century against CSK, brings powerful batting and handy medium-pace bowling to the table.
He is known for his ability to finish games and chip in with crucial overs. These credentials perfectly suit CSK’s philosophy. Marcus Stoinis holds a truckload of experience in the shortest format of the game. Having been a part of the IPL since 2016, he has made 96 appearances in the competition, wherein he scored 2866 runs at an impressive strike rate of 142, including one century and nine half centuries.
