IPL 2025 auction: Five players Punjab Kings could target through RTM
2. Arshdeep Singh
Arshdeep Singh is one of India’s brightest pace bowling talents, known for his ability to deliver in high-pressure scenarios. In IPL 2024, he scalped 19 wickets in 14 matches at an average of 26.58. While his economy of 10.03 raises concerns, his skill in the death overs carries weightage.
Arshdeep is an obvious RTM choice for PBKS as they look to retain their local star. Notably, the left-arm seamer has taken 76 wickets in 65 IPL games, including a five-wicket haul, which is worth applauding.
3. Kagiso Rabada
Kagiso Rabada is a world-class pacer who brings immense value to any T20 side. With 117 wickets in 80 IPL matches at an economy of 8.48, including six four-wicket hauls, the South African paceman has established himself as a consistent wicket-taker in the league.
In the last season, he was below his usual standards as he picked up 11 wickets in 11 games at an economy of 8.86. However, his proven ability to deliver the goods in crunch situations makes him a strong RTM candidate. PBKS could target him to bolster their bowling attack and provide a cutting edge in both the powerplay and death overs.
