Rajat Patidar was ruled out of IPL 2023 owing to an Achilles heel injury and must be gutted to have missed out on contributing to the team. Notably, he was the third-highest scorer for RCB in IPL 2022 wherein he mustered 333 runs in 8 games at 55.50.

The right-handed batter hogged the limelight when he scored the fastest hundred by an Indian in IPL in Qualifier 1 against Lucknow Super Giants, achieving it in just 49 balls. two fifties. He is expected to make a telling impact for RCB in the upcoming season.

Snapped up by RCB for INR 95 lakh at the IPL 2022 auction, Mahipal Lomror hasn’t quite got his mojo going as he had two failed campaigns, scoring 86 and 135 runs in the last two seasons but still, he was retained by the franchise, given his talent.

RCB retained the experienced campaigner and wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik ahead of the auction. The franchise believes that the busy player will make a difference for the team, perhaps one last time as a finisher.
