Mumbai Indians will begin their IPL 2024 campaign against Gujarat Titans on March 24 in an away fixture.
2. Nehal Wedhera
Nehal Wedhera just started to get the hang of things for Mumbai Indians as a batsman in the IPL 2023 season. He chipped in with cameo roles quite well. Overall, he scored 241 runs including two fifties at a strike rate of 145.18.
He registered his personal best score of 64 against Chennai Super Kings last season. After gaining considerable experience, he must be eyeing to make a significant difference for the franchise when an opportunity comes calling.
3. Mohammad Nabi
Mohammad Nabi understands the nuances of the truncated version of the game. The utility asset who is capable of delivering the goods with the ball and bat was sold to Mumbai Indians for INR 1.5 crore at the IPL 2024 auction.
With Suryakumar Yadav likely to be out of the mix for the first couple of games, the MI think-tank might just promote Mohammad Nabi up the order as part of the experiment. Having scored 5 fifties in T20Is, he is yet to unleash his best version in IPL.
