Shivam Dube was a player of unfilled potential during his stint at Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, when he shifted his base to CSK, he brought the best out of himself, playing some crucial knocks for the team when it mattered the most. As a result, CSK retained him ahead of the mini-auction. Dube scored as many as 688 runs in 35 IPL games, including three half-centuries, with his best score of 95*.
MS Dhoni is undoubtedly one of the best cricketing brains in the sport and has been one of the backbones of the team since the inception of the IPL. MS Dhoni has won four IPL titles as captain and has also thrived as a wicketkeeper-batsman. Having played 234 games in the IPL, he scored 4978 runs at an average of 39.2 and a strike rate of 135.2. He has slammed as many as 24 half-centuries in the IPL.
