He continued his run in the 2023 season, scoring 730 runs at an average of 56.15 and a strike rate of 153.68. His tally includes eight half-centuries in fourteen matches, which indicates his solid consistency. Mumbai Indians batter Suryakumar Yadav too was a consistent performer this season. He scored 605 runs, at a strike rate of 181.13, with a century and five fifties.

Another centurion from the 2023 Indian Premier League season in Heinrich Klaasen of the Sunrisers Hyderabad. In a disappointing season for the franchise, his performance was a bright positive. Klaasen slammed 448 runs at an average of 49.78, and a strike rate of 177.07, with a century and a couple of fifties. He was the leading run-scorer for the franchise this season.

The 2023 Indian Premier League season witnessed some unbelievable performances. One of the most memorable was Rinku Singh’s incredible against the Gujarat Titans in a league match in the tournament. With 30 runs needed off the final over, he slammed five consecutive sixes off Yash Dayal to seal the deal for the Kolkata Knight Riders. He finished the season with 417 runs at a strike rate of 149.52, with four fifties.
