Shakib Al Hasan went unsold during the auctions for the Indian Premier League 2022. However, no one can deny the quality the Bangladesh skipper has and the value he brings to the table.

Gujarat Titans only have Rashid Khan as the skipper in the playing XI, while Ravi Sai Kishore could play as the second spinner in the playing XI. Shakib Al Hasan has played 71 IPL matches and scored 793 runs and bagged 63 wickets with the ball.

Shakib Al Hasan can bat at number three or number four for Gujarat Titans and can give Hardik Pandya at least two-three overs in each game. Furthermore, he is likely to be available at a discounted price as well.
