The five-time champions might be pressing hard to sign the 29-year-old as he is the best option available in the market currently.
The right-arm pacer is also carrying some for as he performed brilliantly during the white-ball domestic season. He bagged 10 wickets in 6 SMAT matches at a strike rate of 13.8. Furthermore, he 13 wickets in 7 Vijay Hazare Trophy matches at an average of 24 while playing for Chandigarh.
Sandeep Sharma is known for getting the swing with the new ball and he mostly takes his wickets in the powerplay. While Mumbai Indians will have to make some new plans for the death bowling, Sandeep Sharma will definitely solve their issues with the new ball.
