Glenn Maxwell is one of the highly-rated all-rounders in the shortest format. His ability to clear the balls out of the park makes him a class apart from most other players in T20 cricket. He made a sensational impact in the IPL 2021 season.

Maxwell ended up as the leading run-getter for RCB. The destructive batsman scored 513 runs in 14 games and also took 3 wickets to his name. Punjab Kings (earlier Kings XI Punjab) released him ahead of the 2021 edition of the IPL.

RCB made the right choice by splashing a staggering INR 14.25 crores in the Player Auction. It turned out to be a massive hit for RCB as the signing was worth the weight in gold. He justified his price tag every bit with his useful contribution.
