Mumbai Indians locked horns with Rajasthan Royals in Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Ahead of the 51st game, the captains of both teams namely Rohit Sharma and Sanju Samson were at the toss alongside presenter Simon Doull.

As soon as RR captain Sanju Samson tossed the coin high up in the air, an unexpected scene transpired featuring Rohit Sharma. MI captain surprisingly increased his voice level while calling the toss. He loudly called “Heads”.

While the cricket fraternity has come across several comical incidents at the toss, this is literally out of the box. In fact, nobody would have possibly predicted the same. Rohit Sharma guessed the right side of the coin and opted to bowl first.

Meanwhile, New Zealand’s Simon Doull was taken aback by Rohit Sharma’s loud call. He even went on to praise Rohit Sharma by saying: “Best call of the tournament”. Talking about the game, Rajasthan Royals started off pretty well but got worse as the game progressed.

MI bowlers were tactically smart enough to keep the Royals’ batsmen in check. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson who contributed to the team’s total consistently so far failed to live up to the reputation. Evin Lewis scored 24 off 19 including 3 fours and a six.

All other players were dismissed for cheap scores. Nathan Coulter-Nile was the standout performer for Mumbai Indians as he upped his game to a greater extent. The Australian took four wickets to his standards his quota of 4 overs, giving away only 14 runs.
