MI did not disclose the details of Arjun Tendulkar’s injury that forced them to name a replacement for the rest of the season. MI roped in Arjun Tendulkar for his base price of INR 20 lakh earlier this year at the auction. Arjun has bowled in India nets many times. However, he did not get to apply his skills in this year’s IPL.

The left-arm bowler made his debut for the senior Mumbai T20 team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in January 2021. The defending champions will lock horns with Delhi Capitals on Saturday. Delhi Capitals need one more win to qualify for the playoffs. On the other hand, MI will have to win the subsequent games to remain in contention for the playoffs.
