6. Hardik Pandya
Probably, India’s premier all-rounder in the shorter format, Hardik Pandya adds a lot of value to the side. It comes as a bonus when he starts giving his captain his bowling services as well. Kung-fu Pandya has done well for the country in the past.
Considering that he has started to bowl once again after the injury he succumbed to in the previous Asia Cup, Virat has no reason to bench him out. But still, a question lingers- whether he can give a full quota of 10 overs or not? But if he can, indeed we will see him out in the middle.
Although Pandya did not play the test series, he did reasonably well in the T20I series. He seemed in colors with the bat and was also used as a 5th bowler who gave Virat a complete quota of 4 overs. Will be interesting to see how he goes about his business in ODI cricket.
