The Gujarat Titans’ leg spinner Rashid Khan has praised Lucknow Super Giants’ young leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi for his exceptional talent. The Afghan leggie reckons that Bishnoi has the ability to lead the Indian spin bowling attack in the future.

Rashid Khan is gearing up for the biggest game of the season as his franchise Gujarat Titans will play the final against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday. The Titans have made it to the final in their very first season despite all odds stacked against them. The superstar leggie will be a key player for his team against a strong batting unit of Rajasthan Royals.

Ahead of the game, Rashid Khan opened up about the young Indian talent and the youngsters who can make it big for India in the upcoming years. Khan was quit to pick Ravi Bishnoi and lauded the LSG’s leggie for his skills.

Bishnoi had a decent season for Lucknow Super Giants with the ball as the young leg-spinner accounted for 13 wickets in 14 matches before his time crashed out of the Eliminator.

As quoted by cricket.com, Rashid Khan said, “Bishnoi is a young talent. I’ve talked to him quite a few times. In the upcoming years, he will be a big star for India. If he trusts his skills and continues to back them up, he will definitely be a big bowler for India.”

Taking the conversation further, Rashid also talked about Yuzvendra Chahal and his contribution to Indian cricket and RCB.

“Definitely, the way he performed for RCB and India, he is the best spinner. He bowled the tough overs for India and RCB, which is very difficult. He has played most of the matches in Bangalore, which is a smaller ground, and he showed his skills brilliantly,” Rashid Khan concluded.

Meanwhile, the Afghan leg-spinner will be looking to scalp a few more vital wickets for his franchise to win the IPL title and add to his tally of 18 wickets in 15 matches this season.
