Mayank Agarwal asked KL Rahul & co. to bat first after winning the toss and Kagiso Rabada proved the decision right with a peach of a delivery to remove KL Rahul. Krunal Pandya joined Deepak Hooda in the middle to add some quick runs for Lucknow Super Giants.
Jonny Bairstow shocked Deepak Hooda with a direct hit from the boundary
In the 14th over of the LSG innings, Bairstow produced a jaw-dropping moment to trigger a collapse. He hit the wickets to run out Deepak Hooda from the boundary, aiming only one stump.
On the 3rd delivery of the 14th over, Krunal Pandya turned an incoming delivery from Ashdeep Singh towards deep square for an easy two. Hooda was taking it easy and a fantastic throw from Jonny Bairstow hits directly at the bowler’s end to catch Hooda short of his crease. Replays showed that Hooda was jogging and did not expect the throw to come at his end.
