6 cricketers who played just 1 match in IPL history
3. Damien Martyn
Damien Martyn was an understated hero of Australia’s golden era. In 2010, the Australian made a surprising entry into the IPL with the Rajasthan Royals. Little did he know that he would make just a solitary appearance in the cash-rich IPL. He played one game that season against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, scoring 19 runs off 24 balls including a four at a strike rate of 79.17. Later on, he was released, which saw the end of his brief IPL career.
4. Younis Khan
Younis Khan was one of the vital cogs of Pakistan cricket team during the heydays of his cricketing career. The Pakistani legend played a substantial role in the Green Shirts’ T20 World Cup victory in 2009. His only IPL appearance came in the inaugural IPL season in 2008, when he played for Rajasthan Royals.
However, in just one appearance, he managed to score just 3 runs off 7 balls. Unfortunately, this turned out to be his only game in the tournament and he did not feature in India’s premier T20 competition again.
