Here we look at three names who can take Rohit Sharma’s spot in the Indian T20I side if he decides to not play any more T20I games.
1) Ishan Kishan
Rohit Sharma’s IPL teammate Ishan Kishan will be a prime runner for the prestigious spot. He has been associated with the national team for a long time. He features in intervals as he is still not the first-choice opener.
But if Rohit opens up a slot, Kishan will be given a long run to fix his spot in the side. He has all it takes to perform at the international circuit and his explosive batting will help the side for sure.
India can form a left-right duo for the opening pair with Kishan and Shubman Gill, who has cemented his spot in recent months. Apart from that, Kishan can also keep wickets for the team.
