Simarjeet Singh plies his trade for Delhi in domestic cricket. The 24-year-old Delhi-born cricketer is a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pacer. Last year, he was named as one of 5 net bowlers for India’s tour of Sri Lanka.

After one of the Indian players tested positive for COVID-19, he was added to India’s preliminary squad for their final 2 Twenty20 International matches of the tour. In the same year, he was added to MI’s squad for the rest of IPL 2021 season where he replaced injured Arjun Tendulkar.

More importantly, he can generate a searing pace where he has the potential to clock 140 kmph. His searing pace can make the batters uncomfortable. Besides his bowling, he can be handy with the bat as well. CSK roped the youngster for his base price of Rs 20 lakh at the IPL 2022 mega auction.
