3 players Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) might trade ahead of IPL 2023
RCB merely managed to qualify for playoffs in IPL 2022.
1. Karn Sharma
Leg-spinner Karn Sharma has been around in the Indian Premier League for a while. He has won multiple IPL titles with different franchises, including Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings, and Mumbai Indians. RCB signed him for INR 50 lakh in the auctions for IPL 2022.
However, the spinner remained on the bench throughout the season and didn’t get any game-time during IPL 2022. Sri Lankan leggie Wanindu Hasaranga and Shahbaz Ahmed are the two preferred spinners for the Royal Challengers from Bangalore.
RCB will return to the Chinnaswamy Stadium in IPL 2022 and will need more pacers than spinners. Hence, the franchise might look to trade Karn Sharma with a team that needs a spinner ahead of IPL 2023.
